Toddler Room: Buttercups

Miss Samantha was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She is currently attending Pacific Oaks College pursuing her B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education. Miss Samantha has more than 5 years experience working children and most recently was a Kindergarten Teacher in Sherman Oaks, Ca.

Miss Samantha finds working with young children incredibly rewarding and is very passionate about the work (or play) she does with young children. She has always known that she wanted to work with children even from a young age. Miss Samantha believes in a child’s resilience, struggle, growth, and success. She stays motivated by continually doing research, attending seminars and workshops, and from the children she teaches. Everyday children are asking questions, wanting to learn, and find the best ways to solve their problems. Miss Samantha feels very strongly that her job is to prepare and protect the youth and takes great pride doing so.

Miss Samantha’s favorite ECE course was “Home, School, and Community.” She enjoyed not just the content but her professors approach to teaching. As a result, Miss Samantha would like to continue her education and attain a M.A. degree in Early Childhood Education so she can teach at both Discovery Days and at a college level.

Miss Samantha likes to invest her free time in photography, reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
